about us.

Arula is a Sydney based startup, who make custom breast prostheses for women who have had mastectomies due to breast cancer. Ever since ideating in late 2019, we have been working towards one goal - empowering women to feel better in their own skin. And that includes all women. That’s why we’re committed to creating prostheses that don’t just fit every woman out there, but are made with real feedback from our users. Our products are designed by women, for women.

what we do.

Currently, we’re in our prototyping stage, and we’re looking forward to starting our next phase of user testing! The feedback we’ve gotten has been valuable to improving our prototype. This round, we’ll focus on improving our materials, streamlining our printing process, and further customising each pair of prostheses. User testing is a key part of improving our prototypes, and we can’t wait to welcome our testers to the Arula family! Testing will take place in December 2022. Do you know someone who would be interested in testing?
